A band that has sold over 1.5 million records throughout their career, been on shows featuring the NFL and their fair share of appearances on video games deserve a collection of songs spanning their past three albums entitled “Exhale”, “Oxygen: Inhale”, and “The End Is Where We Begin”, that’s where Thousand Foot Krutch brings about this live production.

This is a rip-roaring collection that really showcases a Thousand Foot Krutch live performance, and that is them delivering each and every time that they perform live.  Their live production is suited not only for clubs and ballroom settings, but for festivals, whether it’s a rock festival or a festival like Winter Jam.  Trevor McNevan is definitely in the driver’s seat in terms of bringing the energy and leading the audience into a crazed frenzy.  Andrew Welch, who is the touring guitarist, brings the harmonics and driving rhythms, and Joel Bruyere brings the sleek bass and Steve Augustine brings the thunder behind the kit.

What I appreciate is that the live production highlights the band, and it surely has the capabilities to win over some new fans that might not be familiar with Thousand Foot Krutch as they rip through their monster hits “Courtesy Call”, “Running With Giants”, and their smash hit “War Of Change”.  Their messages are universal yet the listener knows where the heart of the band is, as case in between “Courtesy Call” and “Be Somebody”.

During “Be Somebody”, the listener can envision and feel the glow of lights from flashlights, glowsticks, lighters, and lights from smartphones as Trevor bares his heart and soul as he encouraging the listener and the audience to get out of their comfort zone and to “Be Somebody”.

It is plain to see why this band has the longevity that they have, especially with being featured on NFL, video games, and other forms of media, along with there being a point in mainstream rock radio where you expect to hear “War Of Change” on that car ride to work.  The production is a healthy balance between highlighting the band while feeling the presence of the Winter Jam audience that probably has their hands raised, jumping in the air, and vibing with the music of Thousand Foot Krutch.  This music is soul stirring and real.  We all need a bit of Thousand Foot Krutch in our lives.  The only issue that fans will have with this live production is that they will want to hear some old school Thousand Foot Krutch with songs like “Move” and “Rawkfist”.  I think it’s a great collection that showcases the evolution of Thousand Foot Krutch.  I give it a 9 out of 10 stars!  Here is the track listing below.
