Zak Abel, who is 22 years old, has been starting to make waves in the British pop scene with his infectious lyrics, ear for melody, and his knack for collaborating with other artists.  He possesses one of the more unique vocals, I’ve heard, where it sounds powerful, yet sultry at the same time.  In his young career, he has boasted one top 20 U.K. hit with the song “Unmissable” featuring Gorgon City and one album in the top 100 U.K. albums charts.

Here are a few career highlights in Zak Abel’s young career:

  1.  He boasts one top 20 U.K. hit for “Unmissable” featuring Gorgon City

“Unmissable” was a top 5 hit on the U.K Dance charts and it was the #16 single in Scotland in 2014.

2.  Zak Abel has also had appearances on four other featured artist tracks, including for the song “Ten More Days” featuring Avicii, which has over three million hits on YouTube.

3.  Zak Abel has also collaborated with Wookie, Jarreau Vandal, and Tom Misch.

4.  A fun fact about Zak Abel, he was an aspiring table tennis player until music came calling.

5.  Zak Abel has also released two EPs entitled “Joker presents Zak Abel” and “One Hand In The Future”.

6.  This past October, Zak Abel has released the album entitled “Only When We’re Naked”

Madness To Creation’s take:

I am surprised that Zak Abel hasn’t blown up yet!  His voice is so full of emotion, soul, and the songwriting is full of love, passion, and with a little lust thrown into the mix.  I can tell that Zak Abel’s voice is jazz-tinged mixed with an R&B feel to the vocals and before long, Zak Abel will blow up!  The arrangements in the music are full of life and soul, which is missing from a lot of American pop music nowadays!  I think Zak Abel will be the next Sam Smith or Ed Sheeran before long with the catchy choruses and infectious melodies.  I strongly recommend listeners pick up his latest effort entitled “Only When We’re Naked”, it is the greatest pop album that you have never heard of.  Madness To Creation rates Zak Abel a 9 out of 10 stars!
