Madness To Creation: Love the “He Ain’t Right” single. Tell us about the song and what can fans expect from it?
Junya Boy: Man, its one of my biggest hits to date. We’re very excited about this. You can expect a video for that soon. It’s big though.
Madness To Creation: How was it collaborating with an artist such as Bryson Tiller who has hundreds of millions of hits on YouTube?
Junya Boy: It’s a great pleasure to work with an artist with such caliber. It was a challenge also, cause he is a certified artist. And I like it cause we went back to the old Tiller back when he was a SoundCloud artist. It was great.
Madness To Creation: Goal for Junya Boy in 2018!
Junya Boy: I’m just continuously working to brand my work. My plan is to become a household name by mid-April. The journey has only just begun. It’s a lot of hits to look for.
Madness To Creation: One New Year’s Resolution that you have!
Junya Boy: Just to keep my focus. It’s not much I need to change, I’m just gonna keep a strong work ethic and continue to make hit music. I’m gonna be all over 2018. This is my year.
Madness To Creation: What can fans expect from a Junya Boy concert?
Junya Boy: You can always expect lots of energy and a good overall performance. I’m doing something I love, so its always a pleasure to bless a stage with my talent.
Madness To Creation: Congrats on over 80,000 hits for “Whip Some Sick”, what’s the song talking about and what was your favorite moment from the music video?
Junya Boy: It’s just a huge summer banger. It came from my love for cars and my love for West Coast music. I really didn’t feel like it would be as big as it is. The feed back was great.
Madness To Creation: Tell us about the hip-hop scene in Texas.
Junya Boy: It’s large we have lots of artists in Texas but they never seem to make it out of Texas because they stay in a box I just plan to like stay out of the box and just like make good hit music you know continue to make my own lane you know like that’s all that’s the only thing I tell Texas artist you know it’s just like make your own lane and you will get big.
Madness To Creation: What got you into the hip-hop scene?
Junya Boy: I’ve always been in love with music I’ve been writing music since I was 9 years of age but I feel music was missing something and I felt I had what music was missing so you know that’s what drove me to the Hip Hop scene.
Madness To Creation: Dream artist you want to collaborate with, alive or dead and why?
Junya Boy: I would have to say either Adele or Taylor Swift. Cause I always had a love for country music and I love how those two artists take a big thing and make it bigger. I love them.
Madness To Creation: Message to the fans and where can people find you?
Junya Boy: You can Google me and find me on anything that is about music. I would have to tell my fans to just make your own lane and never let a person tell you that you can’t. Completely take that word out of your vocabulary and you can be anything. Life is all that you make it. And the kids, just stay in school.
