The woman that brought you the smash hits “You Keep Me Hangin’ On”, “Cambodia”, and “Chequered Love”.  The woman that provided direct support for the one and only Michael Jackson in 1983 and David Bowie in 1990, and the woman that experienced a real-life UFO event.  I present to you the legendary British pop star Kim Wilde, as she is releasing “Here Come The Aliens” via earMUSIC today.

There isn’t enough accolades, awards, and accomplishments that can help describe Kim Wilde’s natural gift for crafting an incredible catchy pop song, Madness To Creation will try their best to describe it to you as “Here Come The Aliens” touches on various topics ranging from love, relationships, the epidemic dealing with cyberbullying in “Cyber Nation War”, to her real life encounters with UFOs in the opening track “1969”, to how music keeps her soul alive and keeps her going in the track “Pop Don’t Stop”, which showcases that Kim Wilde is not only a songwriting machine, but she still has the ability to make her music connect with her audience the world over after all these years.

From a music standpoint, Kim Wilde is able to intertwine the world of catchy pop music with the world of rock music, and is able to mesh those two styles of music together to create this wall of sound that is definitely missing in today’s pop music world.  Case in point, in the track “Pop Don’t Stop”, Kim is able to incorporate tasty guitar hooks with her infectious nature not only in the chorus of the song, but in the track as a whole.  Take a listen below so you can fully grasp what I’m talking about.  This showcases Kim’s genuine love for music as a whole.

There are also lush melodies and seductive arrangements in the ballads of this album.  Case in point, in the track “Solstice”, the outro provides that music where I envision lighters and cell phones being lit up in the sky as Kim Wilde sweeps the listener away with the massive arrangement that she provides in the music, and in the track “Rosetta”, the lush arrangements with the keyboards and synthesizers fully encapsulate the message of the song.

Lastly, Kim Wilde has absolutely created some of the most catchy arrangements and songs that she has trademarked.  Case in point, you will not be able to get the guitar hook of “Kandy Krush” out of your head, and the guitar solo will have rock music fans fully embracing Kim Wilde back into the fold, and the song “Birthday” allows the listener to celebrate life like it’s your own birthday.  Get what I’m talking about in “Kandy Krush”.

If you fell in love with her hits of yesteryear, get ready to fall in love with Kim Wilde all over again.  She exemplifies what creating a pop song is about and she does it with class and a little bit of sass.  Madness To Creation rates “Here Come The Aliens” a solid 9 out of 10 stars!  Check out the track listing below.
