Out of Nashville, Tennessee with Kansas background Lost Stars has recently released their single entitled “Whip Me” on Spotify, Amazon, and other formats.  What you will get is something that will make your hips gyrate, your pelvis to thrust and your fingers to snap.

For a young alternative pop band, Lost Stars has achieved some accolades already.  They have played in various cities such as Chicago, St. Louis, and Atlanta, and they have already shared the stage with popular bands Coin and ARIZONA.  They provide a mix of that pop flair of today’s bands such as old-school Maroon 5(pre-Moves Like Jagger Maroon 5) and The 1975 with a mix of soul and a bit of funk to the music.

In terms of the single, it’s a pretty solid way to get people to know who Lost Stars are.  I enjoy the thickness of the bass groove and the diversity of the vocal range that vocalist/keyboardist Damian Malnar possesses is the driving force behind this band.  The funky guitars that Charley Holden and Trey Warner possess provides the diverse sound that Lost Stars has in their single “Whip Me”.  Lost Stars is filled with harmony, infectious lyrics, and allows the listener to rewind back to the glory days of FM radio where you can roll down the windows, sing at the top of your lungs, and cruise to your favorite destination.

“Whip Me” is so infectious and just a wonderful listen.  It certainly whets the palette for people to want more from Lost Stars, and for that I rate “Whip Me” by Lost Stars an 8.5/10 stars.
