Editor’s Note: There is something to be said about that singer-songwriter who takes multiple influences and creates it into his/her own brand. That is what Atlanta native Maggie Schneider certainly did as she is carving her own niche into the music world. Maggie’s career began to launch as she found herself sharing the stage with the likes of State Champs, Jonny Craig, Like Pacific, and Courage My Love, and her EP “Tinted Glasses” is out now! I would venture to say that she never imagined playing at Vans Warped Tour, let alone being produced by Rian Dawson of All Time Low, which she considers as one of her all time favorite bands. In this edition of “The Musician’s Tribune”, you will read about how the band All Time Low came full circle in Maggie Schneider’s life and career. “From All Time Low to Transform Space: How Vans Warped Tour Impacted My Career”

I went to my first Vans Warped Tour in 2012. I was 13 years old at the time, and the one band I wanted to see that day was All Time Low. They were the first band that brought me into this scene of music, inspiring me to pick up a guitar and write my own songs. Just a couple hours into the festival, I started feeling sick because of the heat, and I sat with my mom and good friend in the amphitheater until All Time Low graced the stage. The moment their set started, I felt better. I jumped up from my seat and started singing their lyrics as loud as I could, hoping they would hear me from so far away. They closed the show and instilled in me the dream to play the Vans Warped Tour.
On July 31, 2018, I performed at the Atlanta date of the final Vans Warped Tour. Up until playing my set, I couldn’t believe it was happening. I had always hoped that I would get the chance to play my music at the festival, but part of me didn’t believe that it would actually happen. Friends, family, and online acquaintances flooded my social media profiles with positive comments, cheering me on and letting me know that they would be there – and they kept their promises! A crowd of 40-50 people gathered at the Transform Space (sponsored by Cool Suppliers and Learning is Endless) just to see me play. Both familiar and new faces smiled back at me, singing the words to my songs just as I had done for All Time Low.
Never stop believing in yourself. Never stop chasing the dreams that you’ve worked so hard for. Performing at the final cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour was this crazy, surreal moment that validated years and years of hard work to become a better artist and person. I hope that my story inspires others to do the same.

Maggie Schneider got to experience the final Warped Tour on the Transform Space stage at the Cellairis Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia, and the next night, she got to share the stage with He Is We at The Masquerade in Atlanta, so needless to say, the future is looking bright for her career.
