Brooklyn, New York’s own The Values have released their music video entitled “Civil” off of the album of the same name.  They earned a premiere with PureGrainAudio and are excited about this release!

The duo, who is known for their cover of “Dancing In The Dark” by Bruce Springsteen has also premiered their EP via Madness To Creation.

“We wanted to do a video that highlighted all the amazing femme musicians that we’ve worked with.  This video is an homage to all the amazing women we really respect and are proud to call our friends and contemporaries.” explained band member Evan Zwisler about the video.

The song, according to Mason Taub, describes the track as someone leaving and trying to be civil about leaving.  Evan had the following to say about Mason’s account:

“Civil is what Mason would say to me if we ever broke up. She did such a great job capturing that feeling and directing it at me,” Zwisler says. “It rings so true that the song is sometimes hard to play.”
