This Friday, Ukraine’s JINJER will continue to take the metal world by storm as they unleash their powerful EP entitled “Micro” via Napalm Records.  After this listen, there is nothing “Micro” about this record as everything sounds larger than life.

Jinjer has taken the metal world by storm with their diverse vocals in terms of trading off their growls with beautiful clean singing that could be compared to Amy Lee of Evanescence with attitude with the growls of Slayer.  Their music grinds like a meat grinder that would be heard about in Upton Sinclair’s famous tome “The Jungle” and their lyrics are thought provoking as well.

The lyrics touch on with anything from the evolution of human beings in the song “Ape”, to being a victim of child abuse in “Dreadful Moments”, while having an expose on how they religion as hypocrisy in “Teacher Teacher”.  Jinjer’s lyrics are sang with conviction and it becomes ingrained in the listener’s ears with their deep growls to their powerful clean vocals, and the rhythm section with the guitar is powerful and pulsating all in the same breath.

Emotive. Thought Provoking. Passionate.  This is why Jinjer is quickly forging ahead to the forefront of the underground metal world.  “Micro” is just a freaking awesome listen with a 9 out of 10 star rating.  Check out the track listing below.

  1.  Ape
