Out of Germany comes a band that mixes thrash with kind of a New York-style hardcore and that band is Dust Bolt.  Today, Dust Bolt takes no prisoners with their latest offering entitled “Trapped In Chaos” via Napalm Records.

With this offering, Dust Bolt will be primed and ready to take over Germany and the European metal market with their bone-crushing guitar riffs, their slick grooves, and their dark melodies in their arrangements and vocal styles.  Case in point, the opening track entitled “The Fourth” immediately sets the tone for the album as their arrangements are mosh pit inducing, so much so that their grooves induce blood splattering slam dancing throughout the pit.  “Bloody Rain” adds some death metal vibes with some Bay Area thrash in the outro, whereas “Rhythm To My Madness” adds some absolutely sick guitar riffs that will cause that metalhead to don the Dust Bolt patch on their leather vest.

This record is simply fantastic.  It’s heavy, it’s groovy, and it has those hardcore elements intertwined into their thrash that makes “Trapped In Chaos” by Dust Bolt an addictive listen.  Madness To Creation gives this a solid 8 out of 10 star rating.  Check out the track listing below.
