There is nothing I enjoy more than a bunch of dudes that are in their late 30’s performing punk rock music.  Long Island’s PATENT PENDING recently returned back to the States after their European run with BOWLING FOR SOUP and I couldn’t have been more happy to photograph the dudes in Patent Pending as they recently performed at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

In celebration of the Christmas holiday, Patent Pending had the stage adorned with Christmas decorations with a big Minion balloon(Despicable Me anyone) and the lighting was also decorated with red and green lights, which brought out the magic of the holiday season.  They certainly brought the energy, which allowed the packed house to burn off the Christmas calories.  It is always so fun seeing them live as they ripped through songs such as “Shake Weights & Moving Crates”, “Anti-Everything”, “Classic You”, and their anthem “Douchebag”.   For their annual Christmas spectacular, they performed “I’m Not Alone” in its entirety.  I am sure based on their live performance that they won many fans over on the Bowling For Soup tour, and I always love it when they come back to town!
