Editor’s Note:  Using this category to announce that we will be covering and reviewing August Burns Red tomorrow night live at The Cabooze in Minneapolis, Minnesota!  August Burns Red will be there with Fit For A King, Miss May I, and Crystal Lake.  August Burns Red is one of those bands that have gotten people through so much with their heartfelt lyrics and just their all out assault in their music.  Here are our personal favorite August Burns Red songs:

5.  “Provision” – The guitar work midway through the first verse is so disgusting! And it’s so brutal!

4.  “Composure” –  I know this is the O.G. song since Jake Luhrs joined the band as a frontman.  But that breakdown is so disgusting it needs to take a freaking shower.

3.  “Beauty In Tragedy” –  This song is a call to arms about overcoming obstacles and getting through challenges.  Plus, they make no bones about who they look to when they’re going through a difficult time.

2.  “Fault Line”-  This song just blows my mind.  It’s one of those songs where I get wiped out to the core after hearing it.

1.  “Ghosts” This song features Jeremy McKinnon of A Day To Remember.  What a powerful message.  We need to take care of our veterans.  This song just takes the listener on an emotional rollercoaster.
