Editor’s Note:  Welcome to the second edition of Weekly Brunch Edition!  Here the weekend is upon us, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and you get to sleep in!  As we have been crazy busy with our work weeks, we are celebrating the weekend!  We crack open some eggs, fry up some steak, and enjoy some brunch.  But wait, we missed out some music news and you might be wanting some new music to check out!  Well, Madness To Creation is your hookup, holler if you hear us!  #SorryScottSteiner It is broken down into the following categories:

  1.  Meat & Taters:  This is where the heavy hitters come in to play.  The main course if you will.  Chances are you’ve heard of this group.
  2.  Light & Fluffy:  This is where a band/artist might come off on the lighter side of music.  Where you might have a potato pancake with the glass of OJ.
  3.  Libations:  Because you can’t wait til lunch or supper so these bands/artists get you in the mood to tailgate and party over brunch.
  4.  On The Side:  These bands/artists are brand new and you might put a little on the saucer to give it a try before diving into the meat & taters!

Meat & Taters:

American Idol winner Maddie Poppe released her single for “Made You Miss” for her upcoming May 17th release.  Fans can check out the single here.  The Dumbo soundtrack featuring the music of Danny Elfman is out now via Disney Records.  The soundtrack includes the single “Baby Mine” by Arcade Fire.  LIMBS officially brings aboard vocalist Austin McAuley for single “Abandoned”, which premiered via Metal Injection.  They are currently on tour with The Plot In You, From Moths To Flames, and Dayseeker.  Check out “Abandoned” via Metal Injection here.  London pop-rock artist Izzy Thomas released her single entitled “Trouble”, which talks about female empowerment.  Her previous EP was featured in Nick Donnelly’s featured film “God Save The Queen”, and she has shared the stage with the likes of Placebo and Bryan Adams.  Check out the single via Soundcloud here.

Light & Fluffy:

  Preston Lovinggood has released his single for “Moon Fever” for the upcoming release “Consequences” via Last Gang Records.  Crimson Apple has released their music video for “Somebody”.  They also completed their “High School Nation” tour.  Check out the video here.  Brooklyn art-pop project RVBY MY DEAR released her single entitled “Draw” exclusively with The Deli NYC.  She has a gig on May 23rd at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City.  Fans can check out the single hereKevin Devine offers up a cover of “Rhode Island” by The Front Bottoms via Consequence of Sound.  “Devinyl Splits No.2”, featuring Kevin Devine and The Front Bottoms is out now via Bad Timing Records.  Check out the cover here.  Trade Wind releases their melancholic single entitled “I Can’t Believe You’re Gone” via Brooklyn Vegan for upcoming release “Certain Freedoms”.  Check out the video here.  Country music group Justin Kemp Band releases their latest single entitled “Heart’s Desire”, fans can pre-order the single via Google Play here.  Trip rockers gP has released their music video for “Fangs Out” off of their upcoming EP “sexindustryfolklore”.  The single and video features Matt Fazzi of Taking Back Sunday, and fans can check it out here.

Texas’s Sheridan Reed has released his latest music video entitled “Money Maker”.  Check out the video here.

Libations:  Los Angeles hard rock band 9Electric releases their latest record entitled “Megalith” via Pavement Entertainment.  They also released their music video for “The Light”, which features Carla Harvey of Butcher Babies.  Helion Prime has released their guitar playthrough video for “The Human Condition” off of their 2018 release entitled “Terror of the Cybernetic Space Monster”.  Fans can check out the video hereDire Peril has released their guitar playthrough video for “Yautja(Hunter Culture)” off of their recent release entitled “The Extraterrestrial Compendium”.  Fans can check out the video here.  Nashville’s rock duo Born Crooked releases the single “Sugar” for upcoming EP release “Come With It Now.  Fans can check out the single here.  Atlanta-based Lumen has released the single “Avarice” via their 2018 EP “Sharing An Eye”.  Fans can check out “Avarice” here.  Canada’s One In The Chamber has released their music video for “Itchin’ Back”.  Check it out here.

On The Side:

New York visual hard rock band SKIVER released their music video for “No Goodbyes”.  Fans can check out the video here.  Spain’s Screams On Sunday releases their music video for “Lopsided Heart”.  Florida’s A Brilliant Lie‘s record entitled “Threads: Weaver” is out now and the record premiered via Idobi Radio.  They have also released their music video for “Unwoven”.   Decibel Magazine premieres the full album stream of “Lunar Falls” by Australia’s SOLDUSK.  “Lunar Falls” is set for release on April 12th and fans can check out the music video for “Aphasia” here.  Kentucky’s Softspoken releases their single for “Eclipse” via Spotify for upcoming release “Deaf Perception”.  “Deaf Perception” will be released on June 28th.  California’s The Happys releases their music video for “Cut The Rope”, which addresses the darkness of living with anxiety.  “Cut The Rope” is off of their EP release entitled “Bipolar”.  Greece’s Constantine will be releasing his latest record entitled “Aftermath” on May 31st.  The upcoming album features members of Primal Fear, Soilwork, and Spiritual Beggars.  Maine post-hardcore band Anxious Hands is streaming their EP entitled “Dissociate” via YouTube.  The record is out now!  Israeli pop punk band Loyal Panic releases music video for “Hero”.  Fans are comparing them to New Found Glory meets Paramore and they can check out the video here.  Dizzy Mystics out of Canada, will be releasing their album entitled “Wanderlost” on May 3rd.  Check out their single entitled “Diamond Duller” here, which is a must have for any psychedelic metal fans.  Holy Fawn releases their music video for “Dark Stone” for upcoming release “Death Spells” via Triple Crown Records.  They are currently on a West Coast run, playing tonight in San Diego, California, and check out the video here.  Reign Of Z has released their music video for “Reflections” off of their upcoming EP release entitled “Mirrors & Memoirs”.  They do have a gig in Millvale, Pennsylvania on April 27th.  Check out the video here via PureGrainAudio.  Canada’s Gone Cosmic has released their single entitled “Faded Release” via Beatroute for upcoming release “Sideways In Time”.  Picture Pink Floyd meets Black Sabbath and you get Gone Cosmic.  Check out the single via Beatroute here.  Maryland’s Echo 2 Locate has released their music video for “High”, which you can check out here.
