It was practically a homecoming of sorts as legendary punk band The Bouncing Souls played at Crosswoods in Garwood, New Jersey in order to celebrate life, punk, and the new EP release entitled “Crucial Moments”.
They are just one of those bands that play because of their love for music, their love for all things punk, and to celebrate their fanbase. I can tell with their energy and enthusiasm that they are just as satisfied playing in an intimate venue like Crossroads as much as playing at a festival like Hellfest in Europe or Vans Warped Tour.
It was just really cool to see a different side to The Bouncing Souls. The Bouncing Souls are well-known for their highly energetic shows, however, fans got to witness a stripped down version of their songs as they told stories and shared laughs with one another over the songs that they created. It allowed the Garwood, New Jersey audience to experience a completely different side to The Bouncing Souls and that made for an awesome, intimate evening of music in the sold-out venue in Garwood.
Their energy and enthusiasm makes The Bouncing Souls a must see punk show. They embody what we love about punk music and that is just escaping the mess that people are going through and just going out and having a good time while completely expressing yourself.
