Editor’s Note:  Welcome to this special Spring Cleaning edition of Weekend Brunch Edition Weekly News and Spotify Playlist via Madness To Creation!  Here the weekend is upon us, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and you get to sleep in!  As we have been crazy busy with our work weeks, we are celebrating the weekend!  We crack open some eggs, fry up some steak, and enjoy some brunch.  But wait, we missed out some music news and you might be wanting some new music to check out!  Well, Madness To Creation is your hookup, holler if you hear us!  #SorryScottSteiner It is broken down into the following categories:

  1.  Meat & Taters:  This is where the heavy hitters come in to play.  The main course if you will.  Chances are you’ve heard of this group.
  2.  Light & Fluffy:  This is where a band/artist might come off on the lighter side of music.  Where you might have a potato pancake with the glass of OJ.
  3.  Libations:  Because you can’t wait til lunch or supper so these bands/artists get you in the mood to tailgate and party over brunch.
  4.  On The Side:  These bands/artists are brand new and you might put a little on the saucer to give it a try before diving into the meat & taters!

Here is what is on this Weekend’s Brunch Menu:

Meat & Taters:  The Story Changes, which is composed of members of Hawthorne Heights and The Stereo, have released their EP entitled “To Hell With This Particular Equation” via Magnaphone Records.  Fans can check out the video for “Shooting Stars” here.  Silver Lake, California’s Paper Jackets performed last night at the Blurred Culture showcase in Los Angeles.  Fans can also check out their video for “Trigger” here, which has over 333,000 hits on YouTube.  La Bouquet has released their debut album entitled “Sad People Dancing” via Amuse.  La Bouquet is composed of Bryan Sammis(formerly of The Neighbourhood).  Fans can check out the video of the same name here.  Former Vixen frontwoman Janet Gardner will be releasing her album entitled “Your Place In The Sun” via Pavement Entertainment on May 31st.  Fans can check out the single of the same name here.  Spanish Love Songs have released their single entitled “(No) Reason To Believe” for their newly released 2 song EP via Pure Noise Records.  They will be performing at Kulturzentrum in Bremen, Germany tonight.  Dead By Wednesday released their music video for “You & Die”.  Fans can check out the video here.  Iowa’s Saul has signed with Spinefarm Records.  He Is Legend announces upcoming release for “White Bat” via Spinefarm Records.  Fans can check out the single for “Boogiewoman” here.  Volumes have released their EP entitled “Coming Clean” via Fearless Records.  Tattoo The Scars have released their single entitled “Bridges Burned” via Chris Jericho’s “The Rock Of Jericho” podcast.  Tattoo The Scars is composed of members of Fozzy, Allele, and Methods Of Mayhem.  India’s Bloodywood have released their video for “Machi Bhasad”.  Bloodywood will be embarking on the “Raj Against The Machine” tour.  Society 1 have tapped legendary punk producer Greg Hetson for upcoming album.  MF Ruckus have launched their rock comic entitled “The Front Lines of Good Times”.  Gears taps Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust for “Tango Yankee” music video which pays homage to the American soldier.  Spotlights have released their new album entitled “Love & Decay” and they will be embarking on a summer tour.  The tour kicks off July 12th at The Green Lantern in Lexington, Kentucky.

Light & Fluffy:  San Antonio’s dream pop outfit Panic Division announces upcoming album release entitled “Touch”, which is due out June 14th.  Panic Division also premiered their music video for “Graveyards” via Popdust, which fans can check out here.  New York’s KYOSi releases the single for “All I’ve Had” via Earmilk.  Her EP entitled “Negative Space” is due out June 21st!  Check out the single via Soundcloud here.  New Haven’s Louis DeFelice premieres his single/video for “Stolen Nights” via Roughstock.  “Songs for a Pseudonym” is out May 2nd.  Fans can check out the video here.  New Jersey’s The Vaughns release their single entitled “Shout” for upcoming release “FOMO”.  Fans can check out the video here.  Am I Dead Yet?, which is composed of Mary Byker of Pop Will Eat Itself has released their self-titled album.  Check out the noir electronic music video for “Joe Meek Shall Inherit The Earth” here.
