It was a packed house on this Thursday night as metalcore giants The Devil Wears Prada with special guests Inventure, My Last Breath, and This Curse brought some nostalgia to a packed Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey.

The Devil Wears Prada definitely had a chaotic energy about them as they ripped through the entirety of their landmark album “With Roots Above and Branches Below”, as it was the 10th anniversary of this landmark album.  The album charted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200, selling 31,000 copies its first week of release back in 2009.  The album also peaked number one on the Top Independent, Top Hard Rock, and Christian Album charts.

The band also treated the audience to a brand new single as they closed out the hour-long set with “Switchblade”, which seemed to be very well received as the audience moshed, crowdsurfed, and someone even threw a shoe at frontman Mike Hranica, who proceeded to autograph the shoe and throw it back into the crowd.
