On April 14th, Feyer brought their unique approach to electronic music to The Bowery Electric main stage.  They’re one part synths, one part heavy metal, and a lot of passion. Frontman Andrew Feyer is what would happen if Andrew WK spend his youth playing video games rather than partying hard.  His performance is magnetic and self effacing, and his unique charm disarms the audience. Performing as a three piece, Feyer ripped through their set with a blistering energy that could have been felt from a mile away.

The blend of nerd-core electronic music and the heavy bass drumming may turn some people off at first, but Feyer finds a way to make it work and put on a thrilling show.  The audience was enthralled from the first note and the Bowery Electric was shaking by the end of his set.

The highlights of his set was his most recent single, “Stuck in a Video Game,” and his cover of Rick Astley’s “Never Going to Give You Up.”  Feyer straddles pounding grooves and deep songwriting on his original material. Feyer is scratching at the surface of something really special and watching him evolve as an an artist will be exciting and satisfying.

It goes without saying, Feyer is a show you don’t want to miss.

On Tuesday, July 2nd, Feyer has a gig with Doobie Duke Sims and Nihiloceros at Brooklyn Bazaar in Brooklyn, New York.  For tickets and further information on the gig, click here.
