Reggae-rock band Iration is known for having a huge underground following. In spite of all the rain, their fun beats and outgoing personalities kept people dancing in the rain as they took the Stone Pony Outdoor Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey on this Mother’s Day Weekend.
The stage was adorned with blue cardboard waves and palm trees, which immediately set the mood for summer and Iration’s feelgood hits. This band would be perfect for playing a concert at an ocean side festival as they are all about the grooves and great jujube in their music and their attitude.
Iration poured through their set and what I appreciated was they didn’t interact with the crowd all that much, which meant getting more of their songs in. The crowd especially danced and sang loud for their hit “Turn Around”.
