Off the heels of the world-famous biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” comes one of the most killer tribute bands out there in Killer Queen. Killer Queen rocked The Paramount in Huntington, New York on July 17th.
Killer Queen is a tribute band unlike any other. It takes real talent to play the music even remotely similar to the style of Queen, however, Killer Queen dresses the part as they went through the different eras of late vocalist Freddie Mercury and they are so engaging live that Mercury’s presence could be felt below in the packed house at The Paramount.
They went through the hits that we know and love; ranging from songs such as the show opener “One Vision”, to “Tie Your Mother Down” to songs such as “Fat Bottomed Girls”, “Under Pressure”, and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”. There was even an awesome cover of “Jailhouse Rock” by Elvis Presley. There were two encores, the first encore being “Bohemian Rhapsody”, while they had a second encore for “We Will Rock You”, “We Are The Champions” and the English anthem “God Save The Queen”. What an unforgettable night of music that got us as close to the real thing as possible. Here is the setlist below:
