Beloved AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson cruises to the Cotswolds in England to tour Pink Floyd percussionist Nick Mason’s incredible car collection, before hitching a ride in a £40 million 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO on an all-new episode of AXS TV’s globetrotting music series Brian Johnson’s A Life On The Road—airing Sunday, October 20 at 9pE/6pP.
In this exclusive first-look, Mason reflects on his first time meeting future Pink Floyd co-founders Roger Waters and Richard Wright, while the trio was training to be architects at the Regent Street Polytechnic School. “It was architecture’s loss, I think, that the music took off… or not,” Mason laughs. “We sort of met because Roger knew I had a car… when he asked whether I might lend it to him, I said no. He also tried to get a cigarette off Rick, and famously Rick went ‘no’, which sort of set the pattern for the next 50 years.” Unbeknownst to the three of them, this chance encounter would lay the foundation for what would become one of the most influential bands of all time—and rock would never be the same again. “It was an important moment,” Mason continues, “because if it hadn’t been for that, we might not be sitting here now.” Check it out here.
Brian Johnson’s A Life On The Road airs every Sunday at 9pE/6pP, only on AXS TV. Next week, Brian sits down with groundbreaking GRAMMY-winner Billy Joel on October 27.

The vision that I have for this site was that I was getting weary of sites that evolve from the original message to what I refer to as "tabloid magazine stand at the grocery store checkouts" kind of sites. My heart is with the underground bands and for the bands/artists that strive to hit that dream, and they spend thousands of dollars on equipment just to play a $100 show! Please contact me and I will review you. I promise to bring you quality news, interviews, and reviews. I have a master's degree and the madness that you're creating in your art is what I'm passionate about! Feel free to contact me, I respond to all emails and to all comments on here! I am an open book! If you see a suggestion on how to improve the site, please make me aware of it! This is YOUR site. I am also in search of writers! Please hit me up with a writing sample and why you're interested. I have NO minimum content requirements, I understand that you have families to feed and a roof over your head(as do I).
