Contributor’s Note:  Henry Gross is an iconic singer-songwriter who wrote the heartwrenching song “Shannon” in 1976.  The song went to sell over two million copies as a single.  The song “Shannon” will make you weep, especially if you have ever lost a pet in your life.  People still relate to that song today.  Henry founded Sha Na Na, would also perform at Woodstock in 1969, and also helped write one of Blackhawk’s biggest hits with the song “Big Guitar”.  Henry Gross would converse with The Don’s Hit List Podcast on FAB Radio International.  Fans can check out Henry Gross at his official website at www.henrygross.com
