Editor’s Note:  Welcome to this special first of December edition of Weekend Brunch Edition Weekly News and Spotify Playlist via Madness To Creation! This playlist theme is “Christmas Hints for the Music Lover Vol. 1”. The air is crisp, and people are getting stressed out knowing that the holidays are right around the corner.  As we have been crazy busy with our work weeks, we are celebrating the weekend!  We crack open some eggs, fry up some steak, and enjoy some brunch.  But wait, we missed out some music news and you might be wanting some new music to check out!  Well, Madness To Creation is your hookup, holler if you hear us!  #SorryScottSteiner  So, after you put away the Halloween decorations, sit back and relax and enjoy this weekly Spotify playlist. It is broken down into the following categories:

  1.  Meat & Taters:  This is where the heavy hitters come in to play.  The main course if you will.  Chances are you’ve heard of this group.
  2.  Light & Fluffy:  This is where a band/artist might come off on the lighter side of music.  Where you might have a potato pancake with the glass of OJ.
  3.  Libations:  Because you can’t wait til lunch or supper so these bands/artists get you in the mood to tailgate and party over brunch.
  4.  On The Side:  These bands/artists are brand new(well to us anyways) and you might put a little on the saucer to give it a try before diving into the meat & taters!

Meat & Taters:

  1.  Amberian Dawn releases their powerful cover and music video for “Lay All Your Love On Me” by ABBA.  Fans can check out the video here.
  2.  Delain will be releasing their upcoming album entitled “Apocalypse & Chill” on February 7th via Napalm Records.  Fans can check out the music video for “One Second” here.
  3. Clutch have released their cover of “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.  Fans can check out the video here.
  4. Young Thug protege Lil Keed have released their music video for “Snake” off of “Long Live Mexico”.  Fans can check out the video here.
  5.  Rise Records have signed Kvelertak and they released their single for “Bratebrann” for upcoming release “Splid”.  Fans can check out the single here.
  6.  The Nixons are back with their visualizer video for “Favorite Lies”.  They will be on a co-headlining tour with Sponge starting this Tuesday in Washington D.C.  Fans can check out the video here.

Light & Fluffy:

  1.  New York singer-songwriter Gabe Lee has released his music video for “Christmas Day” for March 2020 release.  Fans can check out the music video here.
  2.  Singer/songwriter Frank Hamilton released his single for “Song for the Runners Up”.  Fans can check out the single here.
  3.  California alt-pop duo Yours have premiered “Summer Is Bad” via Alternative Press.  Fans can check out the premiere here.
  4. Ashland releases single for “OMG” for their upcoming release entitled “Over The Moon”, which is due out December 13th via Rise Records.  They are performing at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania tonight with Our Last Night, The Word Alive and I See Stars.
  5. Marieme released her music video for “Leave”.  Fans can check out the video here.  Her voice has been featured on LinkedIn, Oprah, and AppleTV commerical “Truth Be Told”.
  6. United Kingdom’s Smoke Fairies released their music video for “Disconnect”.  Fans can check out the video here for upcoming release entitled “Darkness Brings The Wonders Home”, which is due out January 31st.
  7. Pittsburgh indie/folk artist Alan Getto released a live version of his single entitled “Jeff Buckley”.  Fans can check out the video here off of EP “If I Punch A Wall”.
