Editor’s Note:  Welcome to this special second weekend of December edition of Weekend Brunch Edition Weekly News and Spotify Playlist via Madness To Creation! This playlist theme is “Christmas Hints for the Music Lover Vol. 2”. The air is crisp, and people are getting stressed out knowing that the holidays are right around the corner.  As we have been crazy busy with our work weeks, we are celebrating the weekend!  We crack open some eggs, fry up some steak, and enjoy some brunch.  But wait, we missed out some music news and you might be wanting some new music to check out!  Well, Madness To Creation is your hookup, holler if you hear us!  #SorryScottSteiner  So, after you put away the Halloween decorations, sit back and relax and enjoy this weekly Spotify playlist. It is broken down into the following categories:

  1.  Meat & Taters:  This is where the heavy hitters come in to play.  The main course if you will.  Chances are you’ve heard of this group.
  2.  Light & Fluffy:  This is where a band/artist might come off on the lighter side of music.  Where you might have a potato pancake with the glass of OJ.
  3.  Libations:  Because you can’t wait til lunch or supper so these bands/artists get you in the mood to tailgate and party over brunch.
  4.  On The Side:  These bands/artists are brand new(well to us anyways) and you might put a little on the saucer to give it a try before diving into the meat & taters!

Meat & Taters

  1.  SONS OF APOLLO, which features members of Mr. Big, The Winery Dogs, and Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force, will be releasing MMXX on January 17th.  Check out their video for “Goodbye Divinity” here
  2. PALAYE ROYALE have released their music video for “Massacre, The New American Dream”.  Fans can check out the video here and proceeds of the sale of the single go towards anti-gun violence organizations Everytown, Giffords, and March For Our Lives.
  3. “Substance Pop” artist AZRA has released her music video for “Right Here(Orchestra Remix)”.  The video has garnered over 350,000 views on YouTube already.
  4.  BREAKING BENJAMIN has collaborated with Scooter Ward of COLD for “Far Away” for upcoming acoustic release “Aurora” on January 24th.  Fans can check it out here and Breaking Benjamin will be out with Korn in 2020! 
  5. AULI’I CRAVALHO has released an American Sign Language version of the video for “How Far I’ll Go” from the MOANA soundtrack.  Fans can check out the video here.  
  6. Check out the soundtrack from Star Wars Chapter V “The Mandalorian” here. The score was created by LUDWIG GORANSSON.
  7. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL:  THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES have released a brand new playlist from this week’s new episode.  Fans can check out the playlist here.

  9. Legendary hard rock/emo band THE USED surprised fans with new single entitled “Blow Me”, which features JASON AALON BUTLER.  Fans can check out the video here.  
  10.  SKYND have released the music video for “Katherine Knight”.  The video, which can be seen here takes into a love song about the infamous Australian murderer.  
  11.  Nergal(Behemoth)’s side project ME AND THAT MAN have released the music video for “Run With The Devil”.  Fans can check out the dark blues/folk project here
  12.  Korean pop band MONSTA X have released their music video for “Middle of the Night”.  Fans can check out the video here and “All About Luv” is due out February 14th via Epic Records. 
  13. Punk/ska band AUTHORITY ZERO are celebrating their 25th Anniversary with “Live At The Rebel Lounge” CD and Photo Book. Fans can purchase it via Zia Records here.   

 

Light & Fluffy

  1.  Pittsburgh’s STRING MACHINE have signed to Know Hope Records.  They will be re-releasing their album entitled “Death of the Neon” on vinyl on January 17th.  Check out the music video for “Eight Legged Dog” here.  
  2. Oakland’s alt-pop artist SUN KIN premiered the single for “Moon-Crane” via Northern Transmissions.  Fans can check out the single here
  3. DCapella have released their lyric video for “Get’cha Head In The Game” from “High School Musical”.  Fans can check out the lyric video here.  
  4. TEMECULA ROAD released an acoustic music video for “Maybe Not”.  They are providing support for SARA EVANS, and they are performing on Saturday, December 7th at Fitz Casino Tunica in Robinsonville, Mississippi.  Check out the video here
  5. R&B artist JD MCCRARY have released a single to celebrate the holiday season entitled “Closer To Christmas”.  Check out the single here.
  6. Sweden’s FRIDA SUNDEMO released her single entitled “Gazelles”.  Fans can check out the single here.  
  7. California singer songwriter ISMAY released the single for “The Stones”  The album “Songs of Sonoma” will be released in February 2020.

  3. Southern California punk trio HEART LIKE WAR have released their EP for “Thoughts On This” via Indie Vision Music.  Fans can check out the single for “Best Shot” here.

  6. HUMAN IMPACT, which is composed of members of Unsane, Cop Shoot Cop and Swans, have released their video for “November” for their upcoming self-titled debut album, which is set for release on March 13th via Ipecac Recordings. 
  7. BRKN LOVE have released their lyric video for “Flies In The Honey”.  Fans can check out the lyric video here and will be performing with Through Fire and Saul in Racine, Wisconsin on December 7th!
