Editor’s Note: We are having a series where you, the reader, get to know our contributors. While Madness To Creation is their side hustle, get to personally know our contributors in our “Getting To Know” series. Here we have Illinois based photographer Ian Storck, who is also the owner of 3 Count Photography. Fans can find 3 Count Photography at the following locations:
Madness To Creation: Tell me who you are and coolest thing about you.
Ian: My name is Ian Storck and the coolest thing about me is that I photograph the weird world of professional wrestling.
Madness To Creation: Favorite memory photographing or reviewing.
Ian: My favorite memory shooting concerts is getting the opportunity to photograph Korn, my biggest show so far.
Madness To Creation: One band you want to cover.
Ian: One band I’d love to photograph is Nekrogoblikon.
Madness To Creation: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Ian: In my spare time, I also do freelance photography. I only stop to eat and sleep.
Madness To Creation: What do you do for a career?
Ian: For my day job I’m a video producer and photographer for a marketing agency.
Madness To Creation: Top five favorite bands or musicians of all time.
Ian: My top 5 music artists are: Rammstein, Eisbrecher, Gojira, Nekrogoblikon, and Combichrist.
Madness To Creation: If you could talk to one person for an hour alive or dead who would it be?
Ian: If I could talk to anyone alive or dead for one hour, I’d choose Fred Rogers.
Madness To Creation: What is so important about mental health awareness and something you do to help manage stress or when times get tough?
Ian: My opinion on mental health awareness is that people need to understand that social media does not accurately reflect real life. You absolutely should not compare your life to the lives of others as you see it on social media. When I’m stressed or feeling down, I bury myself in my work to distract from everything else.
Madness To Creation: Plug anything you want to plug!
Ian: Follow me on Instagram and Twitter @3CountPhoto for concert, pro wrestling and MMA photography.
