It was an absolutely fucking amazing night as Falling In Reverse headlined “The Drug In Me Is Gold” tour with special guests Escape The Fate and The Word Alive. It was a packed house, especially for a weeknight at the House of Blues in Cleveland, where the floor was completely sold out, with just a small smattering of balcony seats available for the show.
It was a hyped night as Escape The Fate and The Word Alive definitely did their job by warming up the crowd for Falling In Reverse. I’ve been really digging the song “Popular Monster” as of late, as that song has been really resonating with so many people and touching so many lives due to their take on mental health awareness. Falling In Reverse started off with their songs “The Westerner” and “Goodbye Graceful” and in the middle of the song “Caught Like A Fly”, frontman Ronnie Radke stopped the set because a fight broke out into the crowd. For most bands, it would throw off their mojo completely, but not these guys, after Ronnie broke up the fight and gave an impassioned speech about how people come to a FiR show to have a good time not to fight, the band picked up right where they left off. The crowd was especially lit for “The Drug In Me Is You” and “Good Girls Bad Guys”. The band had a solid three song encore, which ended with “Popular Monster”, “Drugs” and “Just Like You”. What a fucking hyped night it was! We’ll be sure to see Falling In Reverse again!
