K-Pop has been the absolute jam as of late.  Madness To Creation has decided to dive into some K-Pop to see what the fuss is all about.  The first album that Madness To Creation is checking out is “All About Luv” by K-Pop sensations Monsta X.  They released this album awhile back to rave reviews.

“In the heat of the moment, when you’re all alone and out of breath” croons Monsta X with that sexy ambiance.  The way that they sing it with passion immediately draws the listener in.  In the first verse and chorus of “Who Do U Love”, the listener will immediately bop about the room as Monsta X sweeps you away with their tremendous harmony.  Usually, I’m not a fan of hip-hop bars for collabs in pop ditties, but French Montana adds that swagger in the second verse of the song.  The finger snaps during the bridge keep the beat going in this song.  This song should be a worldwide classic if it isn’t already.

“Love U” adds that mix of modern pop flow with that throwback to the heyday of 90’s boy bands such as Backstreet Boys, N’Sync and 98 Degrees.  This song has a good chill beat and a stoner vibe to the track.  Monsta X exemplifies how freaking talented they are with their A capella rendition of “Someone’s Someone”, which reminds me of Boyz II Men’s cover of “Yesterday” by The Beatles in a strange way.  “Middle Of The Night” makes the listener dress up to the nine’s and go for a midnight stroll at midnight in search for that special woman.  This song had me from the first note.  Their harmony is just ridiculous.  Absolutely ridiculous.

Their collaborations, their harmony and Monsta X pouring out their souls in their songs make it to where it’s such a beautiful soundscape.  Their songs and beats allow the listener to escape from reality and just provide that ray of sunshine in today’s dark times.  Madness To Creation rates this album a 9/10 stars.  Check out the track listing below:
