Contributor’s Note:  Legendary country songwriter hitmaker Kent Blazy appeared on the 124th episode of The Don’s Hit List with The Don & The Grizz to discuss legendary moments in his songwriting career.  Chances are you’ve heard the songs that he wrote.  If you’re familiar with the legendary country songs “If Tomorrow Never Comes”, “Somewhere Other Than The Night”, and “Ain’t Going Down(Til The Sun Comes Up)”, then you know who Kent Blazy is.  He talks about meeting Garth Brooks when he was starting out singing demos and cleaning churches for a living.  Kent also wrote hit songs for Diamond Rio, Patty Loveless, Gary Morris, T.
