Contributor’s Note:  Peter Myers of the legendary Peter Myers Orchestra joins The Don’s Hit List with The Don & The Grizz on the 183rd episode via FAB Radio International.  In this episode, Peter talks about his collaborations with the legendary Duke Ellington and Ginger Baker, along with his music roots in Manchester, United Kingdom.  Peter has released his latest album entitled “Oye Como Va” with The Hollywood Jazz Orchestra.  He’s worked on music scores for classic movies such as “Rocky III”, “For Your Eyes Only” and “The Formula”.  He’s worked on legendary television shows such as “The Carol Burnett Show”, “The Sonny And Cher Show”, and The Academy Awards, and he’s worked on dance numbers and choreography for Dizzy Gillespie, Gladys Knight, Tom Jones and Natalie Cole.  He’s also composed for Aaron Spelling, 20th Century Fox, Universal and Viacom, and he’s done television scores for Dynasty, Falcon Crest and Jake & The Fatman.  Peter is dedicated to preserving American music by performing spectacular arrangements via the Peter Myers Orchestra with his works with Duke Ellington, Michael Jackson, Thelonius Monk and Henry Mancini.  Fans can find Peter Myers Orchestra at the following locations:
