Contributor’s Note:  Vocalist Lisset Diaz of Sweet Lizzy Project appears on the 194th episode of The Don’s Hit List with The Don & The Grizz via FAB Radio International.  In this episode, Lisset discusses their song “Travel To The Moon” off of their album “Technicolor”.  The song really emphasizes “space rock” along with the vocal melodies that Lisset and the band possess.  They’ve covered “2000 Miles” by The Pretenders as well.  Sweet Lizzy Project has emerged from Cuba as they mix indie pop/rock with an intoxicating Latino flair to their music.  Sweet Lizzy Project is composed of Lisset Diaz on vocals, Miguel Comas as guitarist/co-writer, Wilfredo Gatell on keyboards, Alejandro Gonzalez on bass, and Angel Luis Millet on drums.  To give you an idea of how special this band is, they were discovered by Raul Malo of legendary country band The Mavericks and his wife, who is the manager.  Sweet Lizzy Project has also released “And So This Is Christmas” EP, which includes the cover of “Happy Xmas(War Is Over)”, originally by John Lennon.  Fans can find Sweet Lizzy Project at the following locations:
