Contributor’s Note: “I ain’t missing you at all, missing you, since you’ve gone away”, that song by John Waite is such a timeless classic. That song and his voice has me feeling some kind of way as it did for over 60 million people that have clicked on his YouTube video. I miss the 80’s, where you can roll the windows down, let the wind blow through your hair and just sing until your heart is content as God offers up his beautiful landscapes in the background. We are lucky and fortunate to have John Waite on Behind The Yearbook via Scholastic Perspectives.
John Waite has provided support for Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo and will be performing on Friday, December 17th in Kent, Ohio and on Saturday, December 18th in North Tonawanda, New York. John’s new album “Wooden Heart Acoustic Anthology Volumes 1, 2 & 3” showcases his incredible career and Mark has a very engaging conversation with John about it.
