“Too Far Gone” by Cane Hill…Power and Strength!

Deep in the backwoods of Louisiana comes a band that has a newfound purpose, a new found sobriety(congratulations to Cane Hill), and a renewed sense of focus which is allowing them to cultivate copious amounts of power and strength as Cane Hill has released "Too Far Gone" via Rise Records. Elijah Reed, vocalist of Cane Hill, has stated that it was them wanting to feel invincible and all powerful via LSD that caused them to lose themselves and they went on a journey to rediscover who they are, and what we have now is a band that gives fascism the middle finger and sobriety the fist pump salute with their latest offering entitled "Too Far Gone", which was released January 19th via Rise Records. "Too Far Gone" starts off with the title track, which showcases the power and the return of mode...

The Night That Rejuvenated My Passion for Live Music: Featuring Trivium and Arch Enemy!

At The Truman in Kansas City, it was metal giants Trivium and Arch Enemy with special guests While She Sleeps and Fit For An Autopsy absolutely slaying and annihilating the crowd of almost 1,500 people at The Truman in Kansas City, Missouri.  It was a rainy night and Madness To Creation received the opportunity to interview Lawrence "Loz" Taylor, vocalist of While She Sleeps and Paolo Gregoletto, the bassist of Trivium.  As the show began, Fit For An Autopsy took the stage. Out of New Jersey, Fit For An Autopsy is composed of Joe Badolato on vocals, Will Putney on guitars, Patrick Sheridan on guitars, Tim Howley on guitars, Peter Spinazola on bass, and Josean Orta on drums.  Fit For An Autopsy certainly brought the intensity and they were the perfect band to warm up the audience for this ...

10 Years, Red, and Otherwise Rock the St. Louis Area!! Plus Check Out 10 Years’ Cover of “Heart Shaped Box” by Nirvana here in a “Cover vs. Original” Feature!

On November 4, 2017, Otherwise, Red, and 10 Years put on an exhilarating show at Pop’s Nightclub and Concert Venue in Sauget, IL.  The show was part of a brief fall tour celebrating new releases from all three bands. Otherwise took the stage first and excited the crowd with a blistering set that included “Angry Heart”, “Die for You”, and “Darker Side of the Moon”.  Lead vocalist Adrian Patrick has a great presence and interacted with the crowd during the whole set, walking amongst them at various points of the show.  Other members of the band include Ryan Patrick, lead guitar, Tony Carboney on bass, and Brian Medeiros on bass.  The highlight of the show, as can be expected with Otherwise, was the performance of “Soldiers.”  The whole audience seemingly knew the words and sang along with...

Aaron Nordstrom, vocalist of Gemini Syndrome, Discusses How Music Saves Lives and Twenty-One Pilots with Madness To Creation!

Editor's Note:  This is a man that has one of the biggest hearts in rock music today, and is quietly becoming one of the more influential vocalists in today's rock music(based on what other musicians have told me), and this is what Gemini Syndrome brings to the table as a whole with their music.  They bring something that is introspective, soulful. and I would describe them as a thinking man's band when it comes to various topics, whether it's politics, spirituality, or philosophy.  Gemini Syndrome rolled through to play several one-off dates including a stop at Spicoli's Rockade in Waterloo, before playing Rock Fest up in Cadott, Wisconsin.  Aaron Nordstrom and I literally discussed just about anything in this interview.  Without further delay, I give you my conversation with Aaron No...

“Abominate The World Tour” featuring Doyle and Davey Suicide Leaves Iowa for Dead!

There is something to be said about a living legend in the punk/metal world when they come to an intimate venue such as Spicoli's Rockade in Waterloo, Iowa that leaves a lasting impression on the audience.  Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein left a trail of corpses due to his slaying of the guitar as his band Doyle, which also features Alex Story of Cancerslug to abominate Spicoli's Rockade with their brand of punk meets metal. I cannot say enough cool things about Spicoli's Rockade.  It brings me back to a sense of nostalgia where one would go to the local arcade at the mall and needlessly spend hours at the arcade machines trying to beat a game.  Stand-up arcade games have a flair about them, and that is there is a social aspect, there is few sounds in the world like the pinball machine, e...
