(Mark Dean Interviews): Reb Beach of WHITESNAKE

Contributor's Note: Legendary guitarist Reb Beach has released his new solo instrumental album "A View From the Inside" November 6th via Frontiers Music SRL. An album that showcases the dynamic talents of the guitar virtuoso, hard rock fans will be transported back to the days of when giants like Steve Vai and Joe Satriani dominated the mainstream consciousness (and airwaves), while also simultaneously being shown a guitarist ever pushing himself forward into the future. Reb Beach is one of the indisputable guitar giants of the current hard rock scene. His resume with ‘80s/’90s mega-stars Winger alone would earn him this distinction, but his legacy is cemented by his current membership and work with the legendary Whitesnake, his past efforts with Dokken, and his recent release with supe...

CORKY LAING of MOUNTAIN Discusses 2019 and How Music Don’t Care with Madness To Creation

Editor's Note:  It was a blustery cold day as Corky Laing, the drummer for the legendary rock band Mountain, called in to discuss coffee, vinyl records, and playing with Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule.  "Mississippi Queen" is one of the most famous classic rock songs in history as people look to that song along with "In Gadda Vida" by Iron Butterfly as the first metal songs.  Corky was such a gentleman and he's sharing with us what is in store for 2019.  Fans can find Corky Laing at the following locations: www.facebook.com/corkylaing www.corkylaingworks.com Madness To Creation:  How are you going to celebrate 2019?  What is in store for you this year? Corky:  Without sounding like a promo slut, there's a bunch of things going on with me and the guys in my situation.  We have a ne...

ELIZA AND THE ORGANIX Converses with Evan of Madness To Creation on “Present Future Dreams” and What’s Next!

Contributor's Note:  If you're looking for some soulful rock in the depths of Brooklyn, look no further.  Eliza and the Organix is a dynamite rock group that can rock and goove with the best of them.  I think the only think better than their ep, is seeing them live so go check them out! To me, your music feels somewhere between Anderson Paak and The 13th Floor Elevators, who are some of your biggest musical influences? That’s really interesting. I didn’t recognize either of those names, so I had to do some googling. I’ve heard the 13th Floor Elevators before but didn’t know their name. I can hear a connection between our music and theirs for sure. I also get asked pretty often if I’m into Fiona Apple or The Pretenders, because of Chrissie Hynde. I think my all-time biggest influ...

Corky Laing’s Pompeii “The Secret Sessions”, the cat is out of the bag!

On April 21st aka Record Store Day, Corky Laing's Pompeii released "The Secret Sessions".  This special collection features a supergroup and it also features various special guests such as Eric Clapton, Dickey Betts of The Allman Brothers, and so much more! Sometimes, a record ends up getting lost in the shuffle, collecting dust, and forgotten about.  It just so happens that this record is like a barrel-aged wine and as the fermentation gets prolonged, that barrel-aged wine gets that extra zip in its flavor and that extra pizzazz that people are looking for.  Such is the case with Corky Laing's Pompeii's record entitled "The Secret Sessions". There are some beautiful moments in this record.  One beautiful moment that showcases a group of guys just having absolute fun with this record is ...
