Releasing on Friday 29th May, Mercurial Inventions is the new single from progressive metallers Fight The Tornado. Hailing from the UK, Fight The Tornado combine progressive metal and djent with a wide variety of external musical influences. Mercurial Inventions brings an atmospheric blend of synths and strings before hitting in with heavy seven-string guitars. The mixture of Lindzi’s clean and Jonny’s harsh vocals are used to convey the mixed feelings that someone experiences once they realized they have been betrayed, with the more melodic chorus and bridge expressing more melancholic aspects.
