Editor's Note:  As it's extremely well-documented, it's certainly been trying times for bands and recording artists around the world.  However, it's kept French "Murder Rock" band PORN incredibly busy.  Not only have they released "Act III:  No Monsters In God's Eyes", they have also released remix version of the trilogy which has included members of Combichrist, Mindless Self Indulgence, Stabbing Westward and Orgy on the remix version.  In this interview with Madness To Creation, frontman Mr. Strangler of PORN discusses mental health awareness, the writing process of "No Monsters In God's Eyes" and coping with the Covid-19 pandemic.  Fans can find PORN(the band) at the following locations: www.facebook.com/PORNtheband Madness To Creation:  How are you coping with the Covid-19 pandem...

(Concert Review) QUEENSRYCHE live at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey (2/15/2020)

The verdict is in, Queensryche  still rocks after all these years. After a tumultuous decade, they have entered 2020 with a renewed energy and vigor. This past Saturday night I experienced the new live stage show for this year’s Verdict tour. And I have to say I was most impressed. Opening support for the band on this run is NYC rockers Eve to Adam with direct support coming from guitarist extraordinaire, the one and only John 5.   Eve to Adam hit the stage with their high-energy brand of hard rock full force. I saw the crowd respond to them very positively. Though there was a faction who weren’t familiar with the band and their songs, they were very easy to get into. Their songs had good grooves with powerful vocals. Though their set was short, the crowd really got into the mat...

(Concert Review) JOHN 5 & THE CREATURES Live at 1175 Sports Park & Eatery in Kansasville, Wisconsin (11/5/2019)

With inflatable witches and pumpkin-headed characters adorning the stage, it’s only a week after what would have been perfect timing for this show. The screens placed along the stage are lit up, showing clips of kaiju and horror films to help set the mood. John 5 and the Creatures take to the stage, immediately launching into Crank It. The crowd is hot, bouncing and moving for the catchy track. Towards the end of the song, a portion of the sound goes out, and John announces that they seem to have blown a fuse. After a very brief break to fix the technical issues, the group retakes the stage, choosing to restart from the very intro of the show and to replay the entirety of Crank It again. The crowd doesn’t mind at all, and no energy has been lost during the slight delay.   The thou...

Nick Reese and Robert Sodaro of JOYOUS WOLF Converses with Madness To Creation on Buddy Holly, “Quiet Heart” and Mental Health Awareness

Editor's Note:  It was so good conversing with Nick Reese and Robert Sodaro of Joyous Wolf for Madness To Creation.  This interview took place backstage at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa as they were getting ready to provide direct support for modern rock heavyweights Buckcherry.  This band is riding a wave of momentum as people have been talking about their intense live shows along with "Quiet Heart" and their ridiculous cover of "Mississippi Queen" by Mountain.  Fans can find Joyous Wolf at the following locations: www.facebook.com/joyouswolf www.joyouswolf.com www.instagram.com/joyouswolfmusic Nick:  This venue is really cool, I went and saw the crash site earlier, that was a big deal for me. Madness To Creation:  So did Buddy Holly and Richie Valens play a big inf...

The Musician’s Tribune Vol. 36: “My Personal Spotify Playlist” by SOAWARE

Editor's Note:  On April 19th, Italy's SOAWARE will be unleashing their single entitled "We Shall Be One" ahead of their self-titled debut album.  Here is what SOAWARE had to say about it: “We Shall Be One” is about struggling with feeling separated and lonely while being aware one is not truly alone in the world. The emotional ethos of the lyrics are truly captured in brooding vocals which loom over an ethereal combination of guitars, bass, drums, and synths. The haunting tones of “We Shall Be One” leave the listener to ponder their own relationship with the world. Soaware’s founders and central songwriters, Damiano Bessi and Emanuele Grazioli, bring groundbreaking alternative rock from Italy to the rest of the world. They first met in 1999 while playing in the band Mad Cobol, later...

GoMa Converses with Madness To Creation on “Los Side Effects” and Major Influences in his Music!

Editor's Note:  We have been hitting on some industrial music as of late as William of New Dark Ages PR has been introducing us to some intriguing artists.  Such is the case with GoMa, who has recently released "Los Side Effects" via Bandcamp.  GoMa has given away his release via the "name your price" feature.  This is more of a getting to know feature on an up and coming artist, as you will learn about his challenges and accomplishments as a musician along with his major influences in music.  Fans can find GoMa at the following locations: www.facebook.com/JuanGomaMusic www.myspace.com/juanghoma Madness To Creation:  Take us into "Los Side Effects". GoMa:  I always wanted to make a fun song. Something new but retro with the punch of a 90’s song, but I did not want to break my h...
