(Live Album Review) “Stage Of Evolution” by Once Human

Brutal. Vivacious. Rip-roaring, and Gutteral.  These are just a few adjectives that I would use to describe rising metal band Once Human's live album entitled "Stage Of Evolution".  In this, Once Human will scare the pants off of any headliner that dares to have them as a direct support act as they might steal the spotlight. Lauren Hart certainly stands out as one of THE premier live vocalists in the metal genre with her brutal screams that seem to perfectly match the insane rhythm section and the thundering riffs that Once Human provides.  What makes her stand out as an incredible frontwoman is her seemingly sweet disposition that engages the crowd. The crowd was won over from the inception as the band ripped into their smashing song "Eye Of Chaos" and engaged in storytelling with "...

Frederic LeClereq of Sinsaenum Converses with Madness To Creation on the Fallacies of Religion and What Makes Him Sick About Humanity!

Editor's Note:  I got up super early for this conversation, but when it's one of the great bassists on the planet in Frederic DeClereq, you just had to.  Also of Dragonforce, Frederic and Joey Jordison (ex-Slipknot, current Vimic) drummer created this concept of death metal called Sinsaenum.  On August 10th, the band(I refuse to call them a project) will be releasing their second full length album entitled "Repulsion For Humanity".  Frederic made this a very interesting conversation.  In the meantime, fans can check out Sinsaenum at the following locations: www.facebook.com/Sinsaenum www.sinsaenum.com Madness To Creation:  Thank you for taking the time to interview with me for Madness To Creation.  Take us into some of the concepts of the album. Frederic:  The concept is just h...

“The Shadow Theory” by Kamelot, sweeps you away!

I remember growing up remembering people referring to Queensryche as a "thinking man's metal band".  If that is the case, then Kamelot is "a thinking doctorate's metal band", with their combination of introspective lyrics, larger than life arrangements, and a vocalist that can hit multiple octaves, while causing you to think.  This is Kamelot, as they have released their latest offering entitled "The Shadow Theory" via Napalm Records. Out of Tampa, Florida, Kamelot is composed of Tommy Karevik on vocals, Thomas Youngblood on guitars, Oliver Palotai on keyboards, Sean Tibbetts on bass, and Johan Nunez on drums.  In this offering, they have recruited Lauren Hart of Once Human for guest vocals as well as Jennifer Haben of Beyond The Black for guest vocals. The Shadow Theory is what longtime...

Evan Seidlitz(vocalist) and Darren Badorine(drummer) of Invidia Gives a Lesson on Touring Life, Gemini Syndrome, and “As The Sun Sleeps” with Madness To Creation!

Editor's Note:  It was a rather warm evening at Lefty's Live Music in Des Moines, Iowa.  And a band that is on the rise in the metal world, known as Invidia is a band that takes advantage of every opportunity that they can get their hands on. Invidia is composed of out of the ashes of Five Finger Death Punch, Skindred, and Evan joined the band this year after his stint with VYCES. They joined up to provide direct support for Wednesday 13 and Gabriel And The Apocalypse  If there is a stage, whether there's 10 people there or 10,000 people there, they want to play that stage.  They are genuinely about making personal connections with the fans, but when they get on that stage, they turn into a very hard-hitting band that is driven with copious amounts of intensity.  As of this year, Evan ...
