(Concert Review) SKILLET Live at Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (2/26/2020)

It was such a "legendary" night at a packed house at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City as Skillet with special guests From Ashes To New and Ledger brought a night of exciting rock and showmanship to Sooner country.  Skillet is currently on the "Victorious" tour and decided to give their drummer's band a shot with Ledger opening up the show.   Photo Credit for Ledger:  Ledger I didn't know what to expect when it came to Ledger.  I knew that they were pretty significant in the Christian rock genre, but they blew me away live!  I always dug Ledger's background vocals in Skillet as she added another dynamic to some of Skillet's mainstream rock hits.  Ledger definitely showcased a lot of charisma and confidence opening up and they did a phenomenal job warming up the crowd for Fro...

Keith Wallen of BREAKING BENJAMIN Converses with Madness to Creation on his Solo Project, “A Star Is Born”, and his Favorite Memories Playing with Breaking Benjamin

Editor's Note:  After fighting a sore throat with a sinus infection, I muscled through and got to talk to one of the premiere guitarists in the mainstream rock world in Keith Wallen of Breaking Benjamin for Madness To Creation.  This man seems to do it all musically and he lives for performing on that stage rocking for his fans!  He has recently released his rather dark cover of "Shallow" from the movie "A Star Is Born", and plans on releasing another single entitled "Crows" next week.  In the meantime, Breaking Benjamin is embarking on an insane headlining spring tour as they are taking along Skillet, Underoath, and Fight The Fury with them!  Fans can find Breaking Benjamin at the following locations: www.facebook.com/BreakingBenjamin www.breakingbenjamin.com Fans can find Keith ...

(Album Review) (BUT, AT WHAT COST??!) by SILVERTUNG

This Friday, Baltimore, Maryland's own SILVERTUNG will be releasing their album full of rock anthems entitled (BUT, AT WHAT COST??!) via Thermal Entertainment.  With this release, fans will be once again clamoring for the band that melted faces on mainstream rock radio with the songs "You & Me" and "Face The Music". The four piece band is composed of Speed on lead vocals/guitars, Codey on lead guitar, Danno on drums, and Sam Sour on bass.  They were at one time the number one most added request on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts and they will certainly achieve that status and then some with this Friday's release. The vocals are gritty and the guitar riffs are memorable, which make for great rock songs in songs such as "Dodging Bullets" and "Feel Inhuman".  Now that your seat...

(Concert Review) “BREAKING BENJAMIN Live at Sands Events Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania” (12/29/2018)

It was an amazing homecoming of sorts as Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania's Breaking Benjamin was set to headline in front of a raucous crowd at the Sands Events Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania during this post-holiday season.  What an incredible year for the band as they continue to score hit after hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts with songs such as "Red Cold River" and "Torn In Two", which is off of their critically acclaimed album "Ember". Breaking Benjamin immediately hit hard with "Red Cold River" and frontman Benjamin Burnley looked better than ever.  He looked healthy and he has an uncanny way of engaging the crowd with the seemingly endless amount of rock hits that Breaking Benjamin has in their catalog.  After, "Red Cold River", Breaking Benjamin got the crowd in a massive...

Madness To Creation Converses with John Cooper of Skillet/Fight The Fury on Woodworking, “My Demons”, and Creating Music with No Constraints!

Editor's Note:  We received the absolute pleasure of conversing with John Cooper of Skillet about his new project Fight The Fury.  In this, we learned about how free he felt making music for Fight The Fury, while feeling like he has certain expectations to meet when he's fronting Skillet.  Fight The Fury recently released their EP entitled "Still Breathing", and we learn about his love for metal and how we need to be discussing difficult topics such as addictions and mental health that a lot of us fight on a daily basis.  Fans can find Fight The Fury at the following locations: www.facebook.com/fightthefuryofficial www.fightthefury.com Fans can download "Still Breathing" by Fight The Fury via Spotify and Apple Store here.
