(Mental Health Moments) “Mosaic” by SHAPING THE LEGACY, Drum Playthrough by Juan Hinojosa!

Editor's Note:  This was fantastic to listen to.  Drumming and playing an instrument can be so therapeutic.  There are times where just letting out your aggression on a drum kit can be so soothing, as Juan Hinojosa shows here in this drum playthrough for the song "Mosaic" by Shaping The Legacy.  The music takes you on a journey through the many colors and the many abstract aspects of life.  One moment you're feeling like the sky is the limit and the next moment, you're feeling like the world just came crashing down on top of you.  "Mosaic" is about expressing those feelings and doing what it takes to rise above the challenges and obstacles of life.   Juan Hinojosa is a session drummer out of San Antonio, Texas.  For drumming lessons and sessions, please email Juan at pbiddles10@gmail.co...

Check out the new episode of paranormal investigation series, GHOSTATIC. It features Horror fan and frontman Joey Arena of acclaimed NuMetal/Rock band Ovtlier with host/creator Adamo Fiscella. Ovtlier just released their new video,    "Spineless,"  featuring UPON A BURNING BODY's DANNY LEAL. "Spineless"  discusses the horrors in today’s sickness and society; it was inspired by vocalist/primary songwriter, Joey Arena's experience with watching his grandmother pass on and his "personal views on medical and governmental studies: that we are nothing but lab rats and test subjects." Fiscella states, "Joey and I have known each other for quite some time.  Our previous bands used to tour together. We've worked in the studio together as well. Although our musical paths changed, we have a to...

(Album Review) “Extinction(s)” by UNEARTH

Editor's Note:  Recently, legendary metal band Unearth released their mammoth album entitled "Extinction(s)".  After interviewing with them this past summer at the Vans Warped Tour, vocalist Trevor Phipps stated that this album was somewhat of a concept album talking about how humans are destroying this planet.  After the indepth conversation, I begin to develop a deeper understanding on what Trevor was talking about in this album.  Juan Hinojosa(ex-Upon A Burning Body, Darkness Divided, Shaping The Legacy), wrote a review of this album.  Fans can find Unearth at the following locations: www.facebook.com/unearthofficial www.unearth.tv www.twitter.com/unearthofficial www.instagram.com/unearthofficial So I had the absolute pleasure, of reviewing Unearths latest release before ...

To Speak With Wolves Converses with Madness To Creation on Outer Space, Spirituality, and Being There For Others in Time of Need

Editor's Note:  It was honestly one of my favorite interviews that I have conducted with this four piece band out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  To Speak Of Wolves, who have released "Dead In The Shadow" via Solid State Records was getting ready to provide direct support for He Is Legend and Islander at the Amsterdam Bar & Music Hall in St. Paul, Minnesota and I have found this band to be incredibly endearing and extremely down to earth when it comes to their craft.  In this interview, so many topics were discussed, well you will just have to read it.  Visit To Speak Of Wolves at the following social media locations:  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.  Without further delay, here is my conversation with To Speak Of Wolves. M.T.C.:  Thanks for taking the time to interview me, w...
